Good morning, and greetings to everyone who is part of this wonderful community. Today, Thursday, June 16, I’m sharing a photo that was taken in Caracas a couple of days ago.
I hope you view this photo with the necessary awareness and caution.
It has been more than 21 days since the earthquake struck Venezuela, and this is the aftermath left in the streets: sadness abounds among Venezuelan families. The uncertainty of what will happen is overwhelming for many of the state’s residents.
Adding to all this stress is the government’s incompetence, which not only provides almost no aid but is also hindering the aid coming from other continents. The situation grows more depressing every day, the situation grows increasingly scandalous, and amid an atmosphere of such sadness and chaos, we continue to fight and we continue to smile.
These photos were taken with a Samsung S22 phone; they belong to a friend who I asked to send them to me via WhatsApp. However, it’s very likely that these same photos can be found on my friend’s personal Facebook page, since they went viral very quickly. Nevertheless, I’m very happy to share them with you and, above all, to continue sharing here on the blockchain with everyone who is part of it.
