Hello, dear Hivers!
It's been a long time since I wrote, but I was busy this summer. Every year, same as this one I worked at the stable. People who know me, know about my love towards horses - it's been growing for a few years stronger and better, too.
This year at the stable were four camps for children which took a whole month. We looked after ten horses - fed them, walked them out to the pastures, nurtured them (Hirma again had a problem with her leg, and Bruno needed some oils for hoofs) and generally took good care of them, as they worked hard. The owner bought a new one for that family - a wonderful grey Lippizaner mare, we call her Daisy. She's young, around six years old, very comfortable to ride, and walks great in terrain, although she's fast and loves to calve. I rode on her a couple of times, the first was a little bit scary as I wasn't prepared that she'd run off the hill and I hit a tree. I'm alive, sure, but my helmet got a little bit off, I've got to buy a new one, though. I only had some bruises on my arm and neck.
We had great kids, some of them already knew from past years and those, who ride at our stable as well.
Most of the time we spent at the stable, but we got some time to play sneak peeks and different games, we called "the flags" - we separated them into two teams, and each team had to prepare their story, anthem, shout, and of course, their flag, too.
Despite the time, my friend and I (the instructors and tutors) were sick (we had antibiotics for lymphadenitis) it was great. The atmosphere there is truly uncanny, so that helps with other bad feeling of tiredness. Nevertheless, I will always love to be back and spent time with these wonderful animals.

Dawno nie pisa艂am, ale tego lata by艂am bardzo zaj臋ta. Ka偶dego roku, tak jak i tego, pracowa艂am w stajni. Ci, kt贸rzy mnie znaj膮, wiedz膮 o mojej mi艂o艣ci do koni - od kilku lat jest ona coraz silniejsza i coraz lepsza.
W tym roku w stajni odby艂y si臋 cztery obozy dla dzieci, kt贸re trwa艂y ca艂y miesi膮c. Opiekowali艣my si臋 tymi wspania艂ymi zwierz臋tami - karmili艣my je, wyprowadzali艣my na pastwiska, piel臋gnowali艣my (Hirma zn贸w mia艂a problem z nog膮, a Bruno potrzebowa艂 olejk贸w do kopyt) i og贸lnie dbali艣my o nie, bo ci臋偶ko pracowa艂y. W艂a艣ciciel kupi艂 dla tej rodziny now膮 klacz - cudown膮 siw膮 Lippizanerk臋, kt贸r膮 nazywamy Daisy. Jest m艂oda, ma oko艂o sze艣ciu lat, bardzo wygodnie si臋 na niej je藕dzi i 艣wietnie chodzi w terenie, cho膰 jest szybka i uwielbia si臋 cieli膰. Jecha艂em na niej kilka razy, pierwszy by艂 troch臋 przera偶aj膮cy, poniewa偶 nie by艂em przygotowany na to, 偶e zbiegnie ze wzg贸rza i uderz臋 w drzewo. Na pewno 偶yj臋, ale m贸j kask troch臋 si臋 pot艂uk艂, musz臋 kupi膰 nowy. Mia艂em tylko kilka siniak贸w na ramieniu i szyi.
Mieli艣my 艣wietne dzieciaki, niekt贸re z nich znali艣my ju偶 z poprzednich lat i te, kt贸re r贸wnie偶 je偶d偶膮 w naszej stajni.
Wi臋kszo艣膰 czasu sp臋dzi艂y艣my w stajni, ale mia艂y艣my te偶 troch臋 czasu na zabaw臋 w podchody i r贸偶ne gry, kt贸re nazwa艂y艣my "flagami" - podzieli艂y艣my je na dwie dru偶yny, a ka偶da dru偶yna musia艂a przygotowa膰 swoj膮 histori臋, hymn, okrzyk i oczywi艣cie swoj膮 flag臋.
Pomimo czasu, ja i moja przyjaci贸艂ka (instruktorki i wychowawczynie) by艂y艣my chore (chorowa艂y艣my na zapalenie w臋z艂贸w ch艂onnych i mia艂y艣my antybiotyk), to by艂o 艣wietnie. Atmosfera tam jest naprawd臋 niesamowita, wi臋c to pomaga z innym z艂ym uczuciem zm臋czenia. Niemniej jednak, zawsze b臋d臋 chcia艂a wr贸ci膰 i sp臋dzi膰 czas z tymi wspania艂ymi zwierz臋tami.
