I love community effort because joining hands together is the best way to leverage the power of all. I love education because knowledge is power. Now you probably know why I support and decided to promote @steemiteducation. @steemiteducation is an amazing community of teachers and educators that support each other. This community hopes to make the world a better place by promoting educational posts and authors that create them. Read exactly how they put it:
The steemiteducation account was started to bring all educators together on this platform. I featured this post first because first aid education for kids is lacking in most school systems. @bigbear explained in this post some of the things to teach kids such as how to try to bring back someone that stopped breathing. Also, how to make a phone call if they had an accident is explained and other things. All parents and teachers should check this article and make sure their kids and students learn how to perform first aid.
@roseri, I think you for making this post. Most parents run aways from sex education or quickly change the subject when their kids bring it up. The article explained that sex education should start early and that parents should not be surprised when little kids ask about the genitals because kids are naturally inquisitive. Parents should not allow their children to learn about sex from the world because they will get it all wrong. If you are a parent, why dont you read this material and learn how to handle this sensitive subject.
Education is wonderful. I sing some nursery rhymes innocently, but I never wondered about their origins until I saw this article by @justjoy. I honestly did not know that some of these songs have terrible history behind them. Am not going to say so much here. Just go over to this article and see things for yourself.
Peer pressure could have a very powerful effect on anyone especially on teenagers. This article by @giantbear suggested to young people how to handle peer pressure such as by learning to say no and avoiding doing something just because everyone else does it. Other tips are contained in the article. Check it out.
A really educative article by @bluepanda. I never knew about the different species of sea turtle and how they live their life in the ocean. But I most appreciate that these animals could be endangered by mans activities in an around the ocean. So to help, I should not drive in the beach so as not to crush sea turtle eggs, plus other things. FFInd out by reading the post
