My Granddaughter And Great-granddaughter
Today was all about quality time with the little ones. Mother and Grandma scooped up Sofia and she was the focus of the entire day. She had been down, as she was injured in play a couple of days ago and had to get 4 stitches. First she and her mother went to get their nails done. They came out with matching pink nails and she was delighted.
Our second stop was a short stop at Ross, where we were looking for some cooler clothes for the summer for her brother. She has a lot, but he has none. We found a couple of sets and left. Then we went to Azteca for lunch. She had a nice lunch with the two of us and we returned home.
Then we all took a short nap, watered the garden, and made an amazing dinner. Treasure, her older daughter, is gone for the weekend, and Sam is having a one on one day with daddy. So it has just been the three of us all day. What a marvelous day we had with Sofia. We played, watched TV, and read books.
One on one days with young children are an amazing experience for us all and it makes them feel special. In this case she had both Juanita and I, which made her glow all day.
