This summer we visited the beautiful "Berchtesgardener Land" in Germany for some photography of the capercaillie. Unfortunately we where not lucky and didn't find it in proper time. Instead of the capercaillie we found a lot of beautiful orchids like this yellow lady slipper flourish at this time. So the trip was still very sucessfull, together with the beautiful view of the mountains and the Königssee, that is a beautiful lake with a popular small island.

I still can remember the hotel owner who had a nice neatherlands hotel and was pretty proud of his "Schnitzelparty" where he served different escalopes. But compared to the "Wiener Schnitzel" we where used to know in Austria it was still pretty simple.
