Swans are one of the birds that usually come very close since unfortunately a lot of people feed them with bread. And Bread is really not a good food for birds like these. On the Danube I found this beautiful Swan swimming at a side arm of the Danube where the water current is not so fast. It was carefully watching me while I took some pictures of it. When it saw that I don't feed it stopped being interested and swam away. But still it is a beautiful and one of the bigger water birds here in Austria.
And during the time they have children you have to be very cautious since the parents can be very protective about them and start biting.
