Some time ago I had the luck to find the red-footed falcon on a tree. It is a very seldom appearance here in Austria and this was the first and last time I saw it. It's main habitat is in Eastern Europe and Russia but during bird migration you can find it in middle Europe as well. It's wintering habitat is the south of Africa like for a lot of other birds that migrate from northern europe / asia. At a spot near lake Neusiedler I had the luck to encounter this seldom visitor and since them I have never seen one again. But it is another bird on my list of photographed species that is growing and growing. 馃槂
