Sometimes the light situation can be described just magical and pictures in good light can be very amazing, but it is difficult to find the best light and also have a bird that is sitting at the correct angle to it. Only if you have a hide and prepare everything upfront it might be easier but when you are out in the nature like me most of the time you need some really good luck that a bird is sitting at the correct spot.

This time near Vienna I had some pretty decent light and also a blue tit that was jumping around in the reed right in front me. I didn't let the opportunity pass and took several pictures of this tiny little bird. I think there is so much great color in this bokeh and this makes the pictures great, of course I enhanced the saturation of the pictures a bit to get the outcome of it but there needs to be a certein light present upfront when taking the pictures to be able to get this nice colorful background.
