Back in April this year I was able to take several nice pictures of the flamingo at the Inn River during a photography trip there. We where very lucky that it was so close and we could take several pictures of the bird looking for food in the shallow water. It is a very beautiful bird that probably fled from a Zoo or a Bird Breeder, but it has no ring from a bird breeder so it could also be a bird that came here by accident and doesn't fly back to the south. I find it also a bit strange that It finds enough of the correct food to keep it's feathers in pink.
The Flamingo is a beautiful big bird that usually can only be found further to the south.
