Cold Lake at the mountains

I really like mountain landscapes in combination with a nice lake and trees. I already visited the "Schiederweiher" several times, and it is a great location to visit because I only have to drive for about 1 hour to get there with my car. This is also a reason why this lake is very popular around the photographers here in Linz where I live. And although the water and the lake as well as the view is really beautiful it is already a bit unspectacular because everyone of the photography club had already taken at least one picture of it.

The View I show you in the first picture is probably the most popular View of the Lake.

I really like the beautiful green color of the water in this lake. This come from special algae that grow in the bottom of the lake. The green color makes the lake so much more exciting for viewers. When the weather is fine there are a lot of people visiting this place for some hiking or simply enjoing the beauty of nature there. This Place is also very well known because of a TV Show "9 Plätze 9 Schätze". In this show the Austrian Television showed several beautiful places in Austria to visit. Since this feature in the show a lot of people are visiting this place.
