Bratislava is not far from Vienna and also not from the villages that I usually visit in spring and Autumn in Lower Austria. This is why Stefan and I decided to go for a short trip to the Slovakian Capital city and do some sightseeing there. The most popular attraction is the Castle of Bratislava that is situated at a hill above the city and the danube. From Vienna there is a fast river boat that visits Bratislava every day and You can drive with the Twin City Liner in 75 minutes from Vienna to Bratislava or vis versa.
The Castle can be seen from far away since it is built on a hill. If you visit Bratislava there is not so much to see like in Cities that are a bit bigger. For example Prague or Vienna. When I last visited Bratislava I saw the most important sights within one day, and for Prague I needed several days to see the most important sights there.
