One of the most colorful birds you can find here in Austria is the Bee Eater. They come here in spring and stay till the end of the summer in their breeding spots in Lower Austria and Burgenland. So everytime when i visit lake Neusiedler in the spring also the bee eaters are on my list. The good thing is, if you know a place where they breed it is pretty easy to spot them and take some nice pictures. I am sure next spring i will visit them once again.
Last year i thought i found another place for the bee eaters but i was wrong and so i will take a look to a place in Hungary next year where someone told me i can find them too.
