Austrian Alps

I really like to enjoy the nice landscape in the Alps here in Austria but in the last years I am not that fit and good in hiking as I used to be, but I try to gain back some fitness and hopefully even bigger hikes will not be any problem soon. I hope I can keep track and don't get that lazy again. :-) Since it is very beautiful in the alps and hiking there on a beautiful day in early summer or in late summer is always very nice. It is often not so hot up there in the mountains and therefore it is easy to escape the hot weather down in the valleys.

But the nature and the landscape up there in the mountains can be very beautiful and you also know what you have done after a long day of hiking and falling exhausted into the bed.
