¡Se nos graduó Isa!
Hola querida comunidad de mamitas y papitos, les saludo esperando que todos esten muy bien y puedan estar disfrutando de sus familias.
Este evento ocurrió hace unas semanas, pero debido a situaciones personales y ciudadanas, no podía compartirlos sin tener sentimientos de alegría y tristeza en mi corazón.
Isa, mi sobrina querida, se graduó. Terminó una etapa estudiantil y fuimos parte de este evento que me permitió hacer comparaciones de cuando me tocó a mí, hace muchos años atrás y acompañarla como la familia que somos para ella, siempre presente en sus mejores momentos.

Hello dear community of mommies and daddies, I greet you and hope you are all well and enjoying your families. This event happened a few weeks ago, but due to personal and civic situations, I could not share it without having feelings of joy and sadness in my heart. Isa, my beloved niece, graduated. She finished a student stage and we were part of this event that allowed me to make comparisons of when it was my turn, many years ago and accompany her as the family we are for her, always present in her best moments.
Al momento de escribir esta líneas, vuelven a inundarse mis ojos de lágrimas por lo emotivo que fue, desde que nos invitaron al acto. Resulta que los padres y representantes se organizaron desde el inicio del año escolar para reunir fondos y hacerle los actos de una manera bonita, formal y elegante que les quedara en el recuerdo.
Hubo varias actividades previas, pero el día del acto donde entregan el diploma que los acredita formalmente que terminaron el ciclo formativo, se realizaría en un acto donde solo podían entrar dos personas por graduando; los padres obviamente se negaron exigiendo que al menos permitieran entrar dos personas adicionales alegando que el salón era grande y podían perfectamente entrar todas las personas. Al final, aceptaron y por cada bachiller podían ir 4 personas, allí entramos nosotras.
Al inicio iba: su mamá, sus dos abuelas y una tía. Ya eso yo lo sabía, por eso participé en actividades anteriores. Sin embargo, una de sus abuelas no pudo ir y me dieron el cupo a mí ¡SIIII! Esto fue de un día para otro, pero ya yo tenía mi oufit armado y cabello secado 🤣😂😅.
As I write these lines, tears come to my eyes because of how emotional it was, since we were invited to the event. It turns out that the parents and representatives organized themselves since the beginning of the school year to raise funds and make the ceremony in a beautiful, formal and elegant way that would remain in their memories.
There were several previous activities, but on the day of the ceremony where the diploma that formally certifies the completion of the training cycle was handed out, it would be held in a ceremony where only two people per graduate could enter; the parents obviously refused, demanding that at least two additional people be allowed to enter because the hall was large and they could perfectly fit all the people. In the end, they accepted and for each graduate 4 people could enter, and that is where we entered.
At the beginning: her mother, her two grandmothers and an aunt. I already knew that, that's why I participated in later activities. However, one of her grandmothers could not go and they gave me the place. This was overnight, but I already had my oufit put together and hair dried 🤣😂😅.
El día del evento, llovió muchísimo y por eso el acto inició con retrasos, pero no fue problema porque aprovechamos de tomar fotos, conocer el lugar, y compartir con otros graduandos que también esperaban ansiosos este momento. Además, por motivos electorales, muchos colegios adelantaron sus actos así que tuvimos que esperar que culminara uno anterior para entrar nosotros.
Cuando tocó nuestro turno, entramos y el salón estaba impecable y muy bonito. El escenario estaba ambientado en colores azules, gris, dorado y blanco con flores y letras muy elegantes que hacían honor al evento que se estaba llevando a cabo.
On the day of the event, it rained a lot and so the ceremony started with delays, but it was not a problem because we took the opportunity to take pictures, see the place, and share with other graduates who were also eagerly awaiting this moment. In addition, due to electoral reasons, many schools brought forward their ceremonies so we had to wait until the end of the previous one before we could enter.
When it was our turn, we entered and the hall was impeccable and very beautiful. The stage was decorated in blue, gray, gold and white with flowers and very elegant letters that honored the event that was taking place.
Todo transcurrió con normalidad y aunque no tenía un cronograma en mis manos, el orador fue muy explicíto y claro al transmitir el mensaje y lo que se haría de acuerdo a la entrega de los diplomas.
Los momentos, TODOS FUERON EMOTIVOS; el primero fue cuando entraron, todos desfilaron al igual que los profesores, padrinos, personalidades y el dueño del colegio. Fueron muy aplaudidos y celebrados por los representantes demostrando que existe una verdadera unión entre los padres y el colegio, comprometidos con su educación, todos como una gran familia.
Everything went smoothly and even though I did not have a schedule in my hands, the speaker was very clear and explanatory in conveying the message and what would be done according to the presentation of the diplomas.
The moments, ALL WERE EXCITING; the first one was when they entered, everyone paraded as well as the teachers, sponsors, personalities and the owner of the school. They were very applauded and celebrated by the representatives demonstrating that there is a real union between parents and the school, committed to their education, all as one big family.
Las jóvenes que hablaron para pedir el otorgamiento de los títulos, otras que dijeron porqué se llamaba la promoción 9 de diciembre de 1824, las palabras de la directora, la coordinadora, miren, de verdad que en discurso ganaron 100 puntos. Se nota que se prepararon y comprometieron con el momento.
The young women who spoke to ask for the awarding of the degrees, others who said why the graduating class of December 9, 1824 was called, the words of the director, the coordinator, look, they really won 100 points in speeches. It is clear that they were prepared and committed to the moment.
Un momento bonito también fue que en el colegio tienen una coral o niños cantores, ellos fueron los encargados de poner el toque musical cantando el himno de Venezuela, el himno del colegio, interpretando varias piezas musicales que hicieron el momento más ameno.
A nice moment was also that the school has a choir or children singers, they were in charge of putting the musical touch singing the anthem of Venezuela, the anthem of the school, interpreting several musical pieces that made the moment more enjoyable.
Llegado el momento de entregar los títulos, hablamos de 94 alumnos por lo que pensé que iba a ser aburrido, pero para nada. A cada uno se aplaudía, se animaban entre ellos mismos, fue muy especial el grupo que hicieron. Vi varios estudiantes con autismo y fueron tratados tan igual como los demás y ellos sonrieron, sabiendo las limitaciones que tienen para socializar, así que imagino que durante los estudios compartieron y aprendieron a entenderse.
When the time came to present the diplomas, we were talking about 94 students, so I thought it was going to be boring, but not at all. Each one was applauded, they cheered each other on, it was very special the group they made. I saw several students with autism and they were treated as equally as the others and they smiled, knowing the limitations they have to socialize, so I imagine that during the studies they shared and learned to understand each other.
Luego, entregaron unos reconocimientos a los mejores promedios. Isa tiene un promedio de 18 puntos pero ella nos había dicho que solo le entregarían a los chicos de 19 y 20 puntos. Esto me pareció extraño pero no le presté atención. Nuestra sorpresa es que SI LE DIERON RECONOCIMIENTO, así que otra vez gritamos y aplaudimos por ella y las lágrimas, nunca fallaron😊.
Then, they gave awards to the best averages. Isa has an 18 point average but she had told us that they would only give out awards to the 19 and 20 point kids. This seemed strange to me but I didn't pay attention to it. Our surprise is that they DID GIVE HER RECOGNITION, so again we screamed and clapped for her and the tears, they never failed😊.
Al final, me gustó un reconocimiento que entregaron a los alumnos que estuvieron en ese colegio desde el primer nivel es decir, en toda su educación. Eso explica tanta familiaridad y unión porque son muchos años conociendose y que seguramente seguirá después de este evento. Isa inició allí en secundaria, así que no le tocó reconocimiento.
Seguidamente de culminar el acto, nos hicimos unas fotografías y salimos porque había otro acto y teníamos que abandonar el lugar.
At the end, I liked the recognition given to the students who were in this school from the first level, that is, throughout their education. That explains so much familiarity and union because they have known each other for many years and that will surely continue after this event. Isa started there in high school, so he did not receive any recognition. After the event, we took some pictures and left because there was another event and we had to leave the place.
En comparación con mi acto, todo ha evolucionado, han tomdo otras experiencias y pienso que influyen factores como la planificación, organización, trabajo en equipo, proyección y toda la maquinaria que hicieron los padres para que esto fuera posible. No recuerdo ¡JAMÁS! Haber visto a mis padres ni haciendo una rifa 🤣, pero al menos estuvieron allí.
Agradezco el espacio y espero poder seguir acompañando Isa en otras metas y logros de su vida.
Compared to my act, everything has evolved, they have taken other experiences and I think that factors such as planning, organization, teamwork, projection and all the machinery that parents did to make this possible. I don't remember EVER! Having seen my parents even doing a raffle 🤣, but at least they were there. I appreciate the space and hope to continue accompanying Isa in other goals and achievements in his life.
