Hello hivians. It's Friday and the weekend is coming, I hope you have a good time. Many weekends, like other people, I like to go sightseeing, but sometimes I wonder what kind of tourism people do.
I live in a very touristy area within a very touristy country so I am a little sensitive about this issue. Sightseeing is good and we all like to disconnect from day to day from time to time but sometimes I see, too many times, people doing meaningless tourism.

It is incomprehensible to me what drives some people to go to conflict zones for tourism. In addition to being dangerous and stupid, it is also immoral. A real lack of respect for the people who live there. I am also not able to understand why people go to crowded areas. The experience has nothing to do with what it should be. Seeing Michelangelo's David between elbows is simply absurd.
The other day he was watching on television the lines he had to reach the summit of Everest. What enjoyment you will have in those conditions is not clear.
My opinion is that this behavior is only due to the vanity and feeling of inferiority of many people. The important thing is not to put stamps in a passport but to put pleasant memories in your brain. So do tourism but with common sense.
