Film Review: Buttoners (KnoflΓkΓ‘Εi, 1997)
For most of 20th Century Czechia was considered to be one of the powerhouses of European cinema. Czech cinema managed to thrive even under decades of Communist rule, providing audience in much of Europe and the rest of the world with popular comedies and family films, famous Barrandov studios serving other countriesβ film industries and Prag film school teaching numerous generations of European film makers.
This movie wasn't recommended to me by anyone but just my Google search suggesting animated movies and I saw the poster of this movie, it looked captivating then I got curious to know what storyline was behind the name... Mavka the forest song
