Strategy is essential to achieve almost anything in your life. Although improvisation can sometimes be very good, it does not usually lead to the desired place. Strategy is an art in itself that does not have a very good reputation because it is often associated with deception, but this does not have to be the case in any way.
As I always say, tools are tools and they cannot be held accountable for responsibilities that only those who use them improperly have. The strategy is based on several axes such as having a plan, creating the means to carry it out, determination in the use of those means, execution of what is planned and adapting to changes in a planned manner.
This last point is very important. When we design a strategy and conceive a plan we also have to plan what to do if things don't go as planned. That is exactly what the strategy consists of. Changing plans is not a strategy, modifying the plan based on something already planned is. These concepts should not be confused.
There are many games that teach us to learn strategy. Chess is a classic of military strategy or Poker a classic of economic position strategy.
But strategy is primarily an attitude, the attitude of thinking before executing.
