Hello Hivians. How have you started the week? I hope it's ok. Mondays are always hard but you have to face them with strength and above all with a lot of patience and that is what today's article is about. Patience and change are not parallel paths but rather they tend to converge.
I have two wonderful children who I affectionately call my two little hooligans because of the pranks they do to me and the work they give me. But I adore them. One of them, the oldest, gave me incredible problems when I had to bathe him. He was really crying and kicking like he was killing him. The truth is that the situation overwhelmed me and I tried everything but nothing worked.
I talked to my mother and she gave me some very simple advice. Treat him with as much affection as possible and a lot of patience. Patience will work miracles.
Some time has passed and now not only is the drama over, but he loves water and always wants to be in it.
With this little personal story I want to show that sometimes we complicate our lives a lot and problems have easier solutions. You just have to accept things as they are and be patient. For some problems that is the simplest and most effective solution.
