In a hunted Town, in great distress,Drunk Etim tells his story about a strange demonic woman he saw in the woods.
He described the woman as a tree covered with dead bare sprigs and what could have been husky.
Like a bird-scarer. The woman noticed Etimband loomed down over him, her long, slack face coming with a spitting distance, before he turned and ran without looking back.
The patrons of the tavern laugh heartily at this story. All except for Me.
I had seen the woman, too.
