It feels good to buy goods and services at once convenience anytime, anywhere and all you do is to pick up your items at the door. As easy as it sounds, it's not always a happy story.

Buying goods and services you've only seen the picture and entrust the seller to deliver the goods to you at your own risk.

A very convenient way of shopping, all you have to do is visit a specific website or an online retailer and place your order. You can either pay with your debit card or a credit card. Some retailers also offer cash on delivery. There are so many packages that work for them.

As good as it sounds, shopping online has an advantage and disadvantages.

ADVANTAGES OF SHOPPING ONLINE

1. There are no geographical boundaries, a customer can shop anywhere and anytime.
2. When you find the item you want to purchase, a customer is free to compare prices with other online vendors.
3. There are chances of getting goods directly from the manufacturers.
4. It's easier to gift a loved one, all you do is place a call, make an order and deliver to the person. Simple and easy.

DISADVANTAGES OF SHOPPING ONLINE

1. There is no chance to physically see or touch the item order; sometimes, what you see in the picture would not be what you get.
   I ordered a handbag online, I was expecting the size to be very big but to my greatest surprise, it came to be very small.
2. The customer has to wait for a period for the goods to arrive.
3. For the good to be delivered to your doorstep, there is a delivery charge
4. There are online fraudsters that are waiting to reap our money at the slightest opportunity they get.

PHYSICAL SHOPPING

Customers have the opportunity to visit the shop and buy goods from them. Customers can see what they are buying before they make a payment. You can also take the item you bought home on the same day.

ADVANTAGES OF PHYSICAL SHOPPING

1. Goods and products bought can be seen and touched by the customer.
2. good communication between customers and the seller.
3. It's easy to return the product if there are issues with it.
4. Customers have the opportunity to try on the product before purchase.
5. Customer can build a physical relationship with the seller.

DISADVANTAGES OF PHYSICAL SHOPPING

1. There is a time duration to shop physically at the mall, stores and market.

2. There are no opportunities to compare prices and products.

3. Time and money can be lost just to visit the shop where the goods are sold.

MOST PREFERRED

I apply both shopping method but I prefer physical shopping inasmuch as its time consuming, but it allows me to see and touch the products am buying. I also get to take beautiful pictures when the store or shopping mall is beautifully decorated.
I love shopping with my kids too so they have a good story to tell and they get to see the prices of the goods so they know how to safely keep and manage them.

CONCLUSIONS

There is a huge difference between online shopping and physical shopping.
Online shopping is very convenient as you can shop anytime, anywhere while physical shopping can be time-consuming, but allows you to see and touch the products you are buying.
