The major reason why we work is to earn money and make a living. when the benefits we receive from work are significant and have a considerable positive impact on our well-being, it brings overall job satisfaction.
Greetings everyone and welcome to a new week of possibilities. It's always my pleasure to share my thoughts and life experiences. We all have a major goal to earn money and when it's a job that comes with a lot of benefits it's another reason that keeps us in the job.

I work for an Engineering company where we satisfy our client by providing sufficient water supply for their factories, high-rise buildings, and residential apartments. There are benefits I receive working with this company.
BENEFITS

1. Bonus for Award of contract: For every contract awarded to the company, the sales representative and the manager receive a bonus that recognizes your contributions to the company's growth and success.
2. Bonus for completion of work: Upon successful completion of a project, you are rewarded with a bonus that stands as a motivation for efficient completion of job. To acknowledge your hard work and dedication.
3. Medical Bills Coverage: When you work in a company where your employer covers 100% of your medical bills. This automatically reduces your healthcare expenses, providing financial relief and peace of mind. although it applies to only you, family not included. there are other companies where health care applies to you and three members of your family and some apply to all members of your family.
4. Flexible Work Arrangement: In the year 2020 after the pandemic that happened in Nigeria, a lot of our staff were advised to work from home three times a week, those working on-site work day and night so they have the option to run shifts. This flexibility allows them to balance work and personal life more effectively "Thereby reducing the regular travel time that people spend between their homes and their place of work".

Medical bill coverage is important for keeping healthcare costs low and staying healthy. A few weeks ago, my brother told me that a young man at his work site collapsed. After medical tests, they found out he had high blood pressure. This could have been prevented or managed if he had regular free checkups.
Having a flexible work arrangement is crucial for maintaining a work-life balance. Losing these benefits could reduce the overall attractiveness of the job, forcing one to consider leaving their current position for a better or similar offer.
If the company I work for decides to take away their medical bill coverage, and flexible working arrangement, I would still work for them, but if my bonuses were taken away, I would have to quit because my bonuses are more than my salary and it takes care of most of my bills.
