Ok so I just started posting on Steemit yesterday. This platform and idea is amazing and I feel that it is a social media game changer. I think many people feel this way.
So, in 24 hours on Steemit what have I noticed? Well...what I have noticed is not good. It seems to me that most of the comments/replies I am seeing are all AI/bot driven.
If this platform is to truly get people to interact socially, then we need to make sure we are interacting with real ppl. I have found about 15 bots so far and I literally just started.
As a beginner to this site, if one sees nothing but bots...discouragement will surely set in. Why would you want to be on a social site where bots are earning rewards which should be split among real users?
Basically, someone needs to get this in check. If you see bots posting...flag them and let them know why. Maybe I am just looking to hard and this issues is not as big as I think...but I doubt it. Anyway, thanks for reading and try to keep Steemit awesome!
PS: I would hate to see Steem lose value because of this.
