One of my greatest strengths is my proactiveness and my ability to foresee issues before they become issues. I feel like I'm always building a better life for myself and it's gotten to the point where life is on "amazing cruise control" as if I've covered all my bases. I'm always scanning for new opportunities and ways to improve my life, and more importantly finding ways to stop any potential negatives before they become negatives. I have a knack for asking the right questions and focusing on the right details, and also on prioritizing my activities in life.
It's pretty much life situational awareness and for me, it happens to almost always be at or near 100% capacity (at least nowadays, I had very little of this in my teens and early twenties). Today I feel unstoppable.
I kept dropping the ball on things in life when I was younger (lack of focus/attention, lack of details, lack of something I could have provided,..) and I said I wanted to be known for doing all those things instead of the alternative. I think taking pride in myself and wanting people to think good of me is what helped drive me to change. I kind of cringe when people post things like, "I don't care what any one thinks of me" because it's not really true nor healthy. If everyone thinks I'm a murderer or rapist that is going to be horrible for my life, especially if I'm not one (which I'm not 馃槣).
If everyone thinks I'm a nice guy and that I do the right thing, my life is soooooo much easier. I get the point of not caring what some idiot thinks about you, but I think that we all improve more when we try to become well known for being an awesome human instead of taking the mentality that it doesn't matter what anyone ever thinks about you and your choices.
Anyways, rant done.
