Roses on Castle Hill, Cambridge π
As life as we knew it slowly returns with play dates, school and nursery plans to reopen, I am appreciating the remaining quiet, having both my children with me on my non-working days and being able to have lunch in our garden on sunny days βοΈ
I expect I wonβt have to be fully office based again π©π»βπ» and will be able to work around my childcare needs π¦π»π§π» rather than spends hours stuck in traffic to be seen in the office π
The need to travel to visit relatives has fallen away and there is no great rush to get ourselves up and out of the house in the mornings anymore β°
Yet there is the sense that we are waiting for the end of the pandemic and that things will mostly return to how they were. It does feel like a mixed blessing in the meantime however π
