As life as we knew it slowly returns with play dates, school and nursery plans to reopen, I am appreciating the remaining quiet, having both my children with me on my non-working days and being able to have lunch in our garden on sunny days ☀️
I expect I won’t have to be fully office based again 👩🏻💻 and will be able to work around my childcare needs 👦🏻👧🏻 rather than spends hours stuck in traffic to be seen in the office 🚗
The need to travel to visit relatives has fallen away and there is no great rush to get ourselves up and out of the house in the mornings anymore ⏰
Yet there is the sense that we are waiting for the end of the pandemic and that things will mostly return to how they were. It does feel like a mixed blessing in the meantime however 🌈
