I figured but the confirmation from him was what made me pull the trigger on the purchase. I will be going up Mt Spokane again next week most likely to give it a good test. 4k feet of climbing should really prove its worth. Plus then if I have a flatter course I can always swap out to the original cassette for more appropriate gearing.
