My entry for this week's Fifty Word Story Contest with a topic of "Help".

3 days trapped, in and out of consciousness from the intense pain.
3 days of unbearable heat and bone chilling cold.
3 nights hoping the animals stayed away.
His eyes opened to the feel of heavy hot breath on his neck as the teeth penetrated his skin.
“HELP!” He screamed.

One of those straight out of a nightmare kinda stories. I am sure a large number of people through time have had this very similar dream, let alone the real thing happen.
