In this video I talk about how to Make Videos On DTube And CTPtalk and here I talk about how to make some more advanced editing of your video in YouCut.
YouCut is an App availabe for Android phones that is specifically made to make videos on YouTube, and if you have an iPhone you can use InShot which is another video editor from the same developer that is available on both, though that one is more targeted to Instagram videos, each are free to use but they also have upgrades, the free version does not leave any watermark.
Here I focus on how to add music, text and effects and such to your video after you have made the cutting but before you save it, and don't forget to add the cedits for any music you add.
This is my own personal opinion, do your own research before investing, and seek legal counsel if uncertain.
