Plans - Are you someone who makes plans for their life? What do you do when something doesn't go according to plan? Are you able to adapt your plans to what happens unexpectedly in your life? How do you do it?

I鈥檓 definitely someone who makes plans for my life because planning gives me a sense of direction. I like knowing what I want to achieve and how I hope to get there. Sometimes I even write the steps down or imagine how things will play out in my head. It makes me feel a little more organized and ready for whatever is coming. But even with all that planning, life still has its own surprises waiting around the corner.
When something doesn鈥檛 go the way I expected, I don鈥檛 just give up or panic, even though it can be frustrating. Instead, I try to adapt as quickly as I can. I鈥檝e learned to make room for what ifs whenever I鈥檓 planning anything. That tiny space I leave for uncertainty helps me breathe a little when things start shifting unexpectedly. It鈥檚 not like adapting is easy, because most times it feels like I鈥檓 being pushed out of my comfort zone, but I remind myself that life doesn鈥檛 always follow my script.
I deal with unexpected moments by taking everything one step at a time. I don鈥檛 rush or try to fix everything at once. I just adjust slowly and focus on the next best thing I can do for instance while I was in SS3 I had planned how my life outside secondary would be, writing jamb the next year after SSCE while waiting I'd learn a trade then get admission and start studying Nursing but it turned out to be that after secondary school I was doing Hawkins because things wasn't easy for my family, my SSCE didn't come out well, I didn't write jamb.....hmmm but I actually later did some of this like learning a trade, writing jamb, got admission and today I'm studying Health Education in the University, all these happened 5 years after secondary school. Although it didn't go as planned, I still got most of what I had in mind.
How I handle if things doesn't go as planned is re-strategising, which may sometimes means changing my timing, sometimes it means changing the whole plan, and other times it just means calming myself down before thinking clearly again. Over time, I鈥檝e realized that adapting doesn鈥檛 mean losing control, it just means learning to move with whatever life throws at me.
