Skyography is an awesome activity. I figured out multiple advantages of doing sky photography compared to street or portrait or whatever.
First of all, there is a saying in my culture that sky is close to god. In fact, we occasionally use the following expression sky is the shelter of the god. Capturing a god's castle is an amazing sensation, ain't it?
Sky also takes diverse shapes and forms. This makes the idea of skyography even more exciting. Every day you are lucky to explore the newborn appearance of the sky. A new version of the clouds and the hues of the sky will make your day and be a perfect model for your camera.
Moreover, back to quarantine, when there was a massive lockdown, people were depressed and had nothing to do. One of the good chances for alleviating the degree of hopelessness among folks was finding a good hobby.
It is true that during covid, we couldn't go out or only under special regulations but still going out the balcony or opening our window was permitted. This is what sparked the new hobby of capturing the sky.
Thus, yeah, this was maybe the best reason to start my journey of window skyography admiring the novice shapes and colors of everyday sky.
