Last week Wednesday I travel to a village for a mission survey, I went with a friend because we work together for some time, but this time he was sent from his church, the journey was very heretic because the road to the village was very bad.
We left home very early in the morning but I needed to change the engine oil in my motorcycle so we won't have any problem on our journey, so we left the town at about 8am the village which is called Azuruku, located in Nassarawa state, the road of the community is so bad that we were unable to move with speed.
Before we reached the village we stopped about two times just to check on the road and to make some prophetic declaration, when we got to the river of the village we prayed there.
On reaching the village we saw what we never expect, we had a worm reception, the pastor took us to his house and gave us cool drinks, before we will even open it another member is already coming with another drink, we were speechless, it's only one church in the community and is Anglican church, the Pastor there was just transfer there, just about five months but he is really a developer, because the kind of building we saw amazed us because when you see the road of the village you will not expect such kind of building there.
As I speak to you now the have started another project, to raise a building for there pastor, they people of that community are united and they all came out to gather stone for there new building, while some where working inside the church building.
When we sat with the pastor we were amazed with the outstanding testimony that were coming from him, we said to ourselves one can bring the city to the village, that is actually the life of a missionary.
The journey was very fun because we have never been to that community, we saw some women packing stones from the top of the mountain, this people are really lovers of God.
