For some years now I have observed that many people make preparation for Christmas, for about a year with all there savings, not minding the future of there children, because at the end of each year we tent to spend all our savings, because our minds was to have a better celebration, and forgetting that we have our future ahead to take care of.

I believe what we spent during Christmas season, when we rightly reduce our expenses and save, it will reduce most of the stress after the celebration which I know it will help one to start a better business that will grantee the future of the children, Some people use all there savings for a whole year just to celebrate Christmas, not minding that salaries don't always comes in time, for government workers, the make this mistake year in year out, not trying to build a financial stamina

How can one build a financial stamina

  • Making a plan for yourself, by having two accounts one for miscellaneous whil another savings, is for emergency that even when your salary delay you won't be in depth.

  • Make your plan for Christmas according to your financial ability. Don't do beyond your capacity.

  • Be discipline in your spendings, don't spend because you are expecting salary at the end of the month, just be wise.

  • Keep good company of friends, that are like minded, because there are friends that will follow you because of what the will gain from your pocket, be conscious.

  • Do not compete with others, be yourself, just compete with yourself because when you follow the crowd you end up in the pit.

Conclusion

Christmas is not all about spending but it about reflecting over yourself, whether you're progressing or not make any progress at all, i believe in striking a balance between my income and my expenses. This is why I don't believe in government salary alone, collecting salaries at the end of each month, can not be enough, I want to build a financial stamina.

Thanks for your time
