Stunning self-sustaining tiny house project
Currently being built on a site in Minnesota, the Disappear Retreat by Coulson is a stunning zero energy, zero waste, zero water tiny house.
Built with triple insulating reflective glass, the tiny house takes on the looks of the environment, complete with transparent roof too.
Coulson architects are nothing less than ambitious with this project and will aim not only for Passive Haus certification but also for Living Building certification.
Both combined pretty much the new plus ultra in sustainable construction.
Probably most amazing, aside from its capability to provide sustainable housing without warming in even North Minnesota, is the fact that this is an entire future “village” in the making, in the Grand Marais, MIN.
Expected to open for in 2019, pre-orders are already being registered in three possible interior design options. Starting at around $40,000.
