Olson is not native to Canada. Most immigrated in late 1800 and early 1900s following the completion of the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1885.

As per unemployment being high, you have to look at why. Not unique to Canada but linked to high immigration which is being addressed with some complains since you cannot please everyone.

Don't forget that USA declared an economic war against Canada and most other countries with few exceptions.

It will be interesting to see which nation survives this insane economic attack.

BTW, Justin Trudeau is long gone and Liberal policies have changed in a positive way for the most part. Do you dislike Mark Carney? He appears to be the best leader to help us all cope with the economic chaos in the making because of USA.
