The happy alpine cows in South Tyrol, an autonomous region in northern Italy, enjoying fresh air, an infinity of mountain plateau and the striking beauty of the Dolomiti peaks. This region is not only beautiful but it is unique from the infusion of Austrian culture into all aspects of Italian life. Almost everyone speaks both Italian and German here. Since it has belonged to Italy only for the past century or so, the Austrian influence is unarguably greater. In fact, to me it did not seem I was in Italy at all. A very interesting region in terms of both beauty and history.
On another note, if there was a Milka Chocolate photo contest, I think this picture could win it :))
