It is currently money out of circulation with no value. But a few years ago Venezuela suffered hyperinflation that destroyed the currency, so millions and millions of bills became worthless overnight, many people were left with their old devalued bills in their homes. Now we have new coins and new bills, so these are only used for collecting and in my case for painting.
