Hello dear friends, I greet all the cartoonists wishing you are very well. Today while I take care of my daughter I started to draw so I want to share with you the process and my technique. My drawing today is about Logan, better known as Wolverine, one of the mutants if not the most famous mutant in the X-Men movies, this character has starred in most of the movies and has the healing and regeneration power by which is almost immortal. I hope you like my contribution.
Hola queridos amigos, saludo a todos los dibujantes deseando que se encuentren muy bien. Hoy mientras cuido a mi hija me puse a dibujar así que quiero compartir con ustedes el proceso y mi técnica. Mi dibujo de hoy se trata de Logan, mejor conocido como Wolverine, uno de los mutantes sino el mutante más famoso en las películas de los X-Men, este personaje ha protagonizado la mayoría de las películas y tiene el poder curativo y de regeneración por lo que es casi inmortal. Espero que les guste mi aporte.
PROCESS
We begin the drawing by choosing a gray cardboard, as you know this cardboard adheres very well to the color and background color helps to give more realism to the drawings. We make a sketch of Wolverine with a white crayon and then we begin to paint the head, first the hair and then the face. We use light and dark brown colors for the hair and also for the shadows of the skin.
Comenzamos el dibujo escogiendo una cartulina de color gris, como ya saben esta cartulina se le adhiere muy bien el color y color de fondo ayuda a darle más realismo a los dibujos. Hacemos un boceto de Wolverine con lápiz de cera color blanco y despues comenzamos a pinar la cabeza, en primer lugar el cabello y luego el rostro. Utilizamos colores cafe claro y tambien oscuro para el cabello y también para las sombras de la piel.
Then we begin to put pastel colors on the face and drawing the expression lines with dark and light brown colors. We make the strokes smooth and fast, taking care of every detail of the face, such as the beard and hair. Wolverine always has that angry look on his face and you have to work hard to get it through the strokes.
Luego comenzamos a poner colores pasteles en el rostro y dibujando las líneas de expresión con colores cafe oscuro y claros. Hacemos los trazos suaves y rápidos cuidando cada de talle del rosto, como la barba y el cabello. Wolverine siempre tiene esa expresión de enfado y hay que trabajar bien para lograrla a través de los trazos.
We continue painting the rest of the body with the colors, making all the muscles of the neck, chest and others very marked. Always using the white color first for the light reflections and then darken in the shadows. In the left arm the veins are very marked so we are going to trace them very carefully to achieve the shadow effect they have.
Continuamos pintando con los colores el resto del cuerpó, vamos haciendo muy marcados todos los músculos del cuello, el pecho y los demás. Utilizando siempre en primer lugar el color blanco para los reflejos de lus y luego oscurecer en las sombras. En el brazo izquierdo las venas estan muy marcadas así que con mucho cuidado las vamos trazano para lograr el efecto de sombra que tienen.
Next we also apply the same technique with the abdominals, with the white color we mark the reflection of the light and darken in the divisions, Gently apply the colors, and we blur with an incel so that the colors can mix better. We finish drawing the right arm, marking the muscles and finally the claws, so we will have finished.
SEguidamente tambien aplicamos la misma técnica con los abdominales, con el color blanco marcamos el reflejo de la luz y oscurecemos en las divisiones, Suavemente aplicamos los colores, y vamos difuminando con un íncel para que los colores puedan mezclarse mejor. Finalizamos dibujando el brazo derecho, marcando los músculos y por último las garras, asi habremos terminado.
FINAL WORK
Finishing, I repeated the whole process again so that the finish would be better, with a brush I blurred the colors and put white again. Among all the mutants Wolverine was always the one I liked the most, because of his design and attitude, I still remember the 90's animated series that was a great classic. Finalizando repetí todo el proceso nuevamente para que el acabado quedara mejor, con un pincel difuminé los colores y volví a poner color blanco. Dentro de todos los mutantes Wolverine siempre fue el que maás me gustó, por su diseño y actitud, aún recuerdo la serie animada de los 90 que fue un gran clásico.
