I'm going with fake news on this one. A friend of mine works there and the protests start before lunch hour and stop after. The regular people go out from their offices and gawk unprotected - 10 feet from bunch of police looking like the end is coming. I have some photos he sent me, and this looks as staged as ferguson, batman, paris, nice - and on and on we go. People are standing there eating lunch as they watch the show. Since the mainstream press is all speaking in one voice, you know they are being fed this info.
