Flowing Light Trail Ribbons colourfulphotography

I’m drawn to my light trail photos out of any group of my photos that includes them. This is the most colorful of a series of specific lights I am posting.

This one might not actually the MOST colorful, but I am entranced by the ribbons of color and once I saw this out of thumbnail I had no choice but to post it. I stopped looking at the rest so I will see what I think about color in the rest of them later.

Good composition is hard to get in light trails and I like this frame quite a bit.

The red one biting the blue one makes me happy.

And the guy in the bottom taking off somewhere.

I wish I was there right now shooting, but seeing these photos takes me back to a few magic moments. These light trails are not all from the same night. I go back sometimes if I get good light.

I stand in a slightly dangerous place to get these particular lights and it’s usually windy and dramatic in the dark. I could not have gotten out there back when I was obese. This is fitting-in-fun for me and thanking my lucky stars.

Light trails do not always come when you call, but when they do it is a night to remember.
