Dear Santa,
This will only take 3 minutes!
I know this must be really strange and I bet you must have given up on this ever happening. All through my childhood you waited patiently and secretly wished I'd do this but I didn't care one bit to make your wish come true. You went about supposedly granting the wishes of millions of kids out there but your one wish, that had to do with me, was left untouched. I'll like to take this moment to inform you, and I know you know, that all through those years it was nothing personal and there were no hard feelings. I just wasn't feeling or into the whole you vibe. I was probably more focused on the rice, chicken and drinks on the dining table.
You know what Santa? This year has been different; it started differently than the previous ones and everything that's happened this year has been different. It's why I didn't feel weird when I got the urge to write you. 2017 has been the year of the weird for me and writing you seems to be yet another act of 2017. You know I'm a big boy now so I won't be asking you for candies and what not. You must have sensed from the tone and style of my writing if you had no prior knowledge of my age. I began writing you about two days ago but at this point, I can't seem to remember the particular reason why I embarked on this quest.
Maybe we'll just use this as a warm up and I'll just gist you about some things in my head. See, on the outside, it might seem 2017 has done me a lot of good (and rightfully so) but in the actual sense of things, all I have now as a result of all the gifts 2017 brought me is more responsibility. I see this road before me and it's all shades of strange, Santa! I've always lived my life with the notion that everything will eventually turn out great; you could say that I've been carefree and all so you should understand when I say the road to more responsibility looks so strange to me.
I think I'm secretly, somewhere in my heart, hoping that you'll hop into my room and hide a cheat sheet under my pillow or something. I know you won't wait long enough for us to have a one on one conversation and you'll most definitely not leave a recorded message for the fear of your voice being traced and your true identity revealed. So my best shot at getting a reply from you will be something in written form. Don't tell me you'll be too busy to reply. Don't be a bad Santa!
Also, I've got a handful of STEEM and if one STEEM could somehow be worth $10 each, it'd go a long way in helping me become more like you; putting smiles on people's faces. So I'm asking you to call in all the favors you can and let's make many more kids around the world happy!
This will be all for now but be sure that I'll be right back once I have more to say.
