I readily admit I may be missing something about this whole forking thing, but having my upvote become worthless has caused me to cease manual curation. I found ten accounts that average over $20 per post and put them on autovote, it is the only way I see that I can make money. I had about 40 people who autovoted my posts, they usually made me about a quarter. My 1st post-fork post got those same autovotes, and made 8 cents. I have also decided to quit posting. The third decision I made was to take back all my delegations except to the ssg community, and I may take that one back, too, in an effort to make my upvote count again. However, if steem continues to drop in value, I am fighting a losing battle there, too. I wish I could see the upside of this for myself and other small fry, but I expect to begin powering down after I get my delegations back. I do not see a future for anyone but whales here, and I suspect that they just cooked the goose that laid their golden eggs.
