Today at Olivia’s nursery a teacher was looking through the allotment timeline of 2016 when she noticed someone familiar and called Olivia over. Olivia looked at the pictures with interest and when asked "who's that?", Olivia excitedly patted her chest as though to say "me". When the teacher told Olivia it was her sister Mary, Olivia seemed keen to stay and look for more pictures of Mary. The carer spoke to the children about things they had grown whilst Mary was in the room and Olivia listened with interest whilst turning the pages to see more.
At the first sight grandma and I thought it was Olivia, not surprised Olivia was confused too. But it’s really funny and interesting. And thanks to the nursery, Olivia continues to show interest in the lives of others by taking interest in pictures and conversation.
