Took out a few buddies yesterday for opening day of red snapper and gag grouper and the weather was perfect and the fish were hungry.
We netted up some pinfish and sandperch and headed for 60 feet. This was a rockpile and one of my favorite spots, the first couple baits down we caught a few nice yellowtails. Kit the hog hustler caught a rare species, a African Pompano.
Next we ran out to 95ft of water on the pipeline and caught some nice mangroves and red snapper.
