People are already organizing to form a new chain because you are becoming worse than Justin Sun. Maybe I should file a pleading intervening in that jon doe v bittrex case and just say that Steemit and their witnesses charged you guys a 100% tax and that you are owed nothing-and that you should pay steemit's and bittrex's prevailing party attorney fees. @elipowell

Certainly you are pleading here on hive for a tax of any arbitrary amount to make you feel better about your investments that you feel woefully inadequate for. What is better, your community321 "new hive" vision, or steemit's community321 "new steem" vision. Of course you love the idea of being the Justin Sun of hive, and you flat out say that you will not respect our private property rights with your plans to tax it.
No question, now, what had happened to the faces of the pigs. The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.

If you hate your investment in hive so much, then leave and find an investment you are proud of. Don't force us into your nefarious plans when it is clear that you are the one who isn't happy keeping your money here. Don't hold onto what you think is a bad investment for "our sake"; put your money where you can find a better ROI literally for our sake.
With all your whale bucks, didn't you learn anything from Justin Sun; You can't buy a community. We fled the colony once, and we will do it again. I am looking at other platforms to develop on. You are going to cause a disasterous schism, and in the end you will have nothing left. Let's face it you didn't try this experiment with a custom token, you didn't try to fork another copy of hive to see if anyone wanted to try try your s__tty idea. You want to drag us into something we don't want, ultimately because you are the one who are not happy about your own financial decisions. Repeatedly you complain about the low ROI of whales, so you whales over the years have stabbed the users of their author rewards, now you are twisting that blade for powerdown fees jeopardizing account security, 5% power up fees, and taking an additional 10% of authors rewards....all because you feel that your investment in hive was pretty sh__y. If you think your investments of millions of dollars in hive are pretty sh___y, then why are you making your own financial decisions in the first place-let alone forcing thousands of people to come rescue you for what you think is a sh__y investment with crypto welfare at their expense. If you don't like how you spend your own money, then who are you to tell us how to spend our money. If you are not happy with the ROI in being a hive whale, then sell and find something with a better ROI and stop complaining and leave us alone.
if cub finance is any indicator of the future of hive defi, then all your proposal does is offer FUDD. Hive isn't going to be some sweet defi sweet spot; it doesn't even have an EVM, which is why cub finance is on BSC. It's going to be an island store of value for you to run your pyramid SCAM that no one wants a part of. Hive is not going to be the next pancake swap nor uniswap, you are going to turn hive into a pile of s___ on the kitchen table during thanksgiving dinner because you want to screw over everyone because you admit the ROI is too low for your liking and refuse to go somewhere else-which is the most amicable remedy.
The people you hate, the ones who earn their hive and leave, were the among the ones providing really the only marketing that steem/hive had. They were the ones telling their friends and fellow content creators about this chain, to use this chain, to interact with this chain, to invest in this chain. You wish to change this model and replace it with what will be an obscure store of value pyramid scheme with no marketing and no use case to forever disappear into an obscurity of tens of thousands of unwanted crypto projects with no functional use. In the end, when hive drops to .00000001 doge if you get your way, you will just prove the point: Justin Sun was better than you and the old governance, and perhaps he really was trying to save us from bad actors such as yourself, and particularly save steem users when he taxed 100% of your steem away for his "new steem" project.
