Those are tiny turnips but whatever works and makes them happy.

You might already know this, but after you cut the greens off the tops, and the top part off of the root, you can continue to grow greens out of the tops by planting them. Currently doing that in my basement; no worry about caterpillars down there. But I suppose the greens will be eaten like my year old spinach plant-not at all.
