Hi, today we are going to make a V-neck shirt, it is another version of the previous shirt (sports bra). The size that was made is 100.
As always, the sizes will be in different colors, the numbers in blue pen do not vary according to the size, so they are repeated in all.
Remember to give it 1.0 cm of seam allowance.
All that said, let's get started ....
There is something that I would like to clarify before they cut the mold, although the neckline looks "inclined", I advise you not to transfer it like that, it is better to make it reach "the middle" of the mold (shoulder line) and add 1.0 cm, like this in the sports cup mold. Acontinuacion, in the mold already cut you will see what I mean.
Why do I advise you this? Because when cutting the fabric it will be easier for them to make it. With this I do not say that it is badly delayed, but that it is for a matter of "comfort".
Well, once the mold is cut, we move on to the fabric.
Now yes, sewing time ..... It is a simple confection so I hope you like it.
First, we stretch the neckline with split elastic (optional, you know that I work with another type of elastic), the technique is that of the previous molds, elasticizing from one end to the other.
Now, we join the sides. From one of the armholes leaving an excess of 2.0 cm of elastic (this is to later be able to sew the strap), we begin to elasticize through the back and ending in the other armhole, where we will again leave 2.0 of elastic excess.
To measure where to sew the strap on the back, what you have to do is: measure 10.0 cm from the seam that joins the sides to the center of the back, this should be done on both sides so it will be even when sewing the strap .
To finish, the hem should be a 2.0 cm fold
In the image it is made with zig-zag, but if they do it with a straight line it is also fine.
Image taken from my Instragram @fire_rabbit. As you can see, in this case I did not stretch either the front or the back, I just sewed it with overlok. It is an example of what they can also do.
