Hello Everyone. I hope you're all having an wonderful day.
I'd like to share this wildlife drawing of a roaring lioness I made earlier today with one of my favorite mediums, white charcoal and black paper . I'm fascinated by the varieties of facial expressions that animals produce and this is one of the most powerful of those expressions ever.
I used a black paper and white charcoal because they are great for fur details and light effect.

Here are the steps involved;
First, I drew an outline of the lioness face with her wide open jaws and her tongue stretched out.

Next, I began shading the lioness's face starting from the tongue and adding fur details with the white charcoal pencil.

For the last step, I drew the whiskers,added more details to face and also to the fur until I got a result I was pleased with.

Thanks for reading and viewing my drawing. Enjoy the rest of your day.
