Hello Everyone. I hope you're all doing great.
I was having a conversation about the Corona Virus with abdex9@abdex9 who happens to be one of my close friends on the blockchain and we talked about the "Plague Doctors" and how valuable they were in periods of several kinds of deadly plagues that have occurred in history. We talked about their clothing which comprised of a specially designed leather mask, cloak and a hat that prevented them getting infected and allowing them treat the infected properly.
After going through some picture of plague doctors from the 17th and 18th century, we decided to have a challenge between ourselves for who would create the best drawing of a plague doctor. I must confess, abdex9@abdex9 got some balls and I really love this kinda challenges though. Firstly, because it is related to what we got going on around the world and secondly because it helps experienced and upcoming artists like myself get the best out of themselves and creates more bonds and connection on and off the chain.
On that note, I present to you all my drawing of a plague doctor.
I used a black ball point pen and pelican paper for this drawing
Here are the steps involved;

First, I drew the outline of the plague doctor and added all the notable features.

Next, I began shading and addition of tones and details to the mask.

Finally, I shaded and added details to his hat and leather cloakbuntil I got a satisfactory result.
