Hello Everyone.
So Mother's Love drawing challenge was supposed to be today, but I did a drawing yesterday and realized it was for the wrong day. So here's my new and second entry for "Mother's Love" daily drawing challenge. The drawing depicts a cleaning her cub with her tongue as it sleeps on her arm. This drawing simply shows how much love and care the lioness has for her young one even when the cub is unconscious.
I used a black ball point pen and pelican paper for this drawing.
Here are the steps involved;
Firstly, I drew the outline of both the lioness and her young one. I also drew their facial features and pattern of fur flow in this stage.
Afterwards, I began shading the dark areas on their body and added fur details to the skin of the lioness first.
Finally, I added fur details yo the skin of the cub until I got a satisfactory result.
