To begin my day, I made this drawing of a lioness and her cub. The drawing depicts the cub playing and staring at its mother while the lioness stares back calmly and closely at her young one.
I used a black ball point pen and pelican paper for this drawing
Here are the steps involved;
Firstly, I drew the outline of both the lioness as well as her cub and added all facial features. I also drew the pattern of fur flow in this stage.
Next, I began shading and adding details of fur to the cub's skin.
To complete the drawing, I shaded and added details of fur to the lioness's skin for realism
