Hello Everyone. I hope you're all doing well today.
To end my day, I did some little practice on detailing and achieving realism in wildlife animals with a pen. This is quite challenging but with patience and paying attention to details, it is achievable. For this practice, I made a sketch of a leopard's face, just the areas of the eyes. This area has so many important spots that could either make a drawing be a success or a flop. The eyes are the first point of contact when we look at an animal so getting how to draw those eyes right is quite important in wildlife art.
I used a black ball point and pelican paper for this drawing.
Here are my steps;
Firstly, I drew the outline of the leopard's eyes and added some important features.
Next, I shaded its spots and began drawing the pattern of fur flow on its face.
Finally, I shaded and added details to its eye and face.
It looked quite realistic but I'll have to practice more.
Thank you for reading and viewing my drawing. Enuoy the rest of your day.
